‘Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can you make it salty again? Have salt among yourselves, and be at peace with each other.’

• You and I should add flavour and taste to the lives of others.
• Salt adds taste and value to the food it touches.
• And in the same way we should add value to the lives we touch.
• In addition, we are called to live at peace with each other.

Prayer: Lord, may my life bring value and blessing to others. May I model the type of life You gave us as an example and may my life be blessed with real and lasting relationships. Amen.

Die sout is goed, maar as die sout souteloos word, waarmee sal julle dit smaaklik maak? Julle moet sout in julle hê en vrede hou met mekaar.

• Ek en jy behoort smaak aan ander mense se lewens te gee.
• Sout gee smaak en waarde aan die kos wat dit aanraak.
• Net so moet ons waarde aan die mense wat ons aanraak se lewens bring.
• En ons word ook geroep om in vrede met mekaar saam te lewe.

Gebed: Vader, mag my lewe waarde en seën aan die lewens van ander bring.. Mag ek my lewe volgens U voorbeeld aanpak en mag my lewe geseën word met ware en langdurende verhoudings. Amen.

盐 本 是 好 的 ， 若 失 了 味 ， 可 用 甚 麽 叫 他 再 咸 呢 ？ 你 们 里 头 应 当 有 盐 ， 彼 此 和 睦 。

• 盐是用于加增它所接触到的食物的口味和味道的。
• 同样，你我要增添,调和别人生命的品味和价值。
• 像盐一样，我们也应该去加增别人的价值，所有我们生命当中接触到的人。
• 另外，我们还被呼召活出与人和睦的生命。

祷告：主，愿我的生命给别人带去价值和祝福。愿我活出你所为我设立的样式，且愿我的生命在与别人一种真实持续的关系当中成为们的祝福。阿门！
