Isaiah 17:10
‘You have forgotten God your Saviour; you have not remembered the Rock, your fortress.’
– Sometimes we think we can just do it alone.
– We think we have enough strength within ourselves to handle things.
– But soon we discover that we are destitute without God.
– The Bible tells us that we should ‘remember our creator’!
Prayer: Lord, forgive me for thinking that I can do everything by myself. I need you Lord in my life. You are my God, my Saviour, my Rock and my Fortress. Amen.

‘Want jy het vergeet die God van jou heil en nie gedink aan die rots wat jou toevlug was nie.’
– Soms dink ons dat ons alles alleen kan doen.
– Ons dink dat ons in onsself genoeg krag het om dinge te hanteer.
– Maar ons kom gou agter dat sonder God is ons verlore.
– Die Bybel sê ons moet ons Skepper onthou!
Gebed: Vader, vergewe my dat ek dink ek kan alles self doen. Here ek het U in my lewe nodig. U is my God, my Verlosser, my Rots en my Veilige Vesting. Amen.

‘Porque te olvidaste del Dios de tu *salvación; no te acordaste de la *Roca de tu fortaleza.’
– Algunas veces podemos pensar que podemos ir solos.
– Pensamos que tenemos suficientes fuerzas para manejar las cosas.
– Pero pronto descubrimos que estamos desprovistos sin Dios.
– La Biblia nos dice que debemos recordar a nuestro Creador!
Oración: Señor, perdóname por pensar que puedo hacer todo yo solo. Te necesito en mi vida. Tú eres mi Dios, mi Salvador, mi Roca y mi Fortaleza. Amén.
