Haggai 2:9
‘The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,’ says the LORD Almighty. ‘And in this place I will grant peace,’ declares the LORD Almighty.
– With God in our lives, the best is always ahead of us.
– He desires that what lies ahead would be greater than what lies behind.
– This verse also includes a promise of peace.
– May this be true for you: ‘In this place I will grant peace!’
Prayer: Lord, I look forward to the future knowing that it is part of Your character to move us forward to the better things You have prepared for us. Amen.

‘Die toekomstige heerlikheid van hierdie huis sal groter wees as die vroeëre, sê die HERE van die leërskare, en op hierdie plek sal Ek vrede gee, spreek die HERE van die leërskare.’
– Met God in ons lewens is die beste altyd voor ons uit.
– Hy begeer dat dit wat vooruit lê groter sal wees as dit wat in die verlede is.
– Hierdie strofe sluit ook ‘n belofte vir vrede in.
– Mag hierdie vir jou bewaarheid word: “op hierdie plek sal Ek vrede gee”.
