Ezekiel 34:12
‘I will be like a shepherd looking for his scattered flock. I will find My sheep and rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on that dark and cloudy day.
– We often see the picture of the Lord as a shepherd in the Bible.
– It tells us something about the character of God.
– He finds us in our days of darkness and rescues us.
– He doesn’t leave or abandon us but He finds and rescues us.
Prayer: Lord, sometimes life seems to take me to places I would rather not be. Would You please come and find me and bring me back to the security of Your fold. Amen.

‘Soos ‘n herder vir sy trop skape sorg op die dag as hy onder sy verspreide skape is, so sal Ek vir my skape sorg; en Ek sal hulle red uit al die plekke waarheen hulle verstrooi is, op die dag van wolke en donkerheid.’
– Ons sien dikwels ‘n prent van die Here as ‘n herder in die Bybel.
– Dit vertel ons iets omtrent God se karaker.
– Hy vind ons in ons donker dae en red ons uit.
– Hy los of verlaat ons nie maar Hy vind en red ons.
Gebed: Vader, soms neem die lewe my na plekke waar ek nie wil wees nie. Sal U my asseblief kom vind en terug bring na die veiligheid van U kudde. Amen
