Psalm 85:8
‘I will listen to what God the LORD says; He promises peace to His people, His faithful servants – but let them not turn to folly.’
- The Lord’s intentions towards us are clear.
- He wants us to know and experience the peace that He alone can bring.
- It is so easy to fall back into worry and stress.
- Let us continually remind ourselves of His faithfulness.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for the promise of peace that You offer me. As I listen to what You have to say, I will rest in that peace and not revert to the foolishness of doubt and fear. Amen.

‘Ek wil hoor wat God die HERE spreek. Ja, Hy spreek vrede vir sy volk en vir sy gunsgenote; maar laat hulle nie tot dwaasheid terugkeer nie!’
- Die Here se bedoeling teenoor ons is duidelik.
- Hy wil hê dat ons van en die vrede wat Hy alleen vir ons kan gee, moet weet en ondervind.
- Dit is so maklik om weer te begin stres en bekommerd wees.
- Kom laat ons aanhoudend onsself herinner aan Sy getrouheid.
Gebed: Vader, dankie vir die belofte van vrede wat U my bied. As ek luister na wat U sê, sal ek in vrede rus en nie weer in dwaasheid verval en begin twyfel en vrees nie. Amen.

Salmo 85:8
‘Voy a escuchar lo que Dios el Señor dice: Él promete paz a su pueblo y a sus fieles, siempre y cuando no se vuelvan a la necedad.’
- Las intenciones del Señor para nosotros son claras.
- Él quiere que conozcamos y experimentemos esa paz que sólo Él puede brindarnos.
- Es muy fácil volver a preocuparnos y estresarnos.
- Continuemos recordándonos de Si fidelidad.
Oración: Señor, gracias por la promesa de paz que me ofreces. Mientras escucho lo que tienes para decirme, descansaré en paz y no recaeré en la necedad de dudar o temer. Amén.
