‘They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the LORD to care for them.’

• Often we spend too much time expecting the worst.
• Instead of being fearful, we should anticipate God’s favour.
• You should live with the expectation that He will take care of you.
• When you see things from this perspective, it changes your outlook.

Prayer: Lord, help me to not dwell on the negatives or on how things could go wrong. Rather, help me to be confident enough to know that Your love and care for me will see me through and that I will see Your goodness and kindness towards me. Amen.

‘Hy vrees nie vir slegte tyding nie; sy hart is gerus, vol vertroue op die HERE.’

• Dikwels spandeer ons te veel tyd om die ergste te verwag.
• In plaas daarvan om te vrees, moet ons God se guns verwag.
• Jy moet lewe met die verwagting dat Hy vir jou sal sorg.
• Wanneer jy dinge vanuit hierdie perspektief sien, verander dit jou lewensbeskouing.

Gebed: Vader, help my om nie op die negatiewe te fokus of op hoe sake verkeerd kan uitdraai nie. Help my eerder om versekerd genoeg te wees om te weet dat U liefde en sorg vir my sal deurhelp en dat ek U goedheid en welwillendheid teenoor my sal ervaar. Amen.
