Luke 8:16
‘No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light.’
– You and I are meant to bring light into a dark world.
– We should shine with HIS light and bring hope to those around us.
– Don’t hide or conceal your light.
– Be like a lighthouse to those who are looking for hope and direction.
Prayer: Lord, may my light shine bright and may I be a good reflection of Your love and light to others. Amen.

‘En niemand steek ‘n lamp op en maak dit met iets toe of sit dit onder ‘n bed nie; maar hy sit dit op ‘n staander, sodat die wat inkom, die lig kan sien.
– Ek en jy is bedoel om lig in ‘n donker wêreld te bring.
– Ons moet skyn met SY lig en hoop bring aan die mense om ons.
– Moenie jou lig wegsteek nie.
– Wees soos ‘n lighuis vir die wat soek na hoop en rigting in hulle lewens.
Gebed: Vader, mag my lig helder skyn en mag ek ‘n goeie weerkatsing van U liefde en lig vir ander wees. Amen.
