1 Samuel 30:8

Then David asked the LORD, ‘Should I chase after this band of raiders? Will I catch them?’ And the LORD told him, ‘Yes, go after them. You will surely recover everything that was taken from you!’

• There is nothing quite like a word from the Lord to encourage us.
• Here David receives a word from the Lord and a promise of success.
• The Lord wants to speak to you and give you the direction that you need.
• He wants to give you the assurance that He is with you and He will restore things.

Prayer: Lord, speak to me, I pray, so that I will know which way to go and so that I can operate in Your strength and might. Amen.

‘En Dawid het die HERE geraadpleeg en gesê:  Sal ek hierdie bende agternajaag? Sal ek dit inhaal? En Hy sê vir hom: Agtervolg, want jy sal sekerlik inhaal en sekerlik uitred.’

• Daar is niks soos ‘n woord van die Here om ons aan te moedig nie.
• Hier ontvang Dawid ‘n woord van die Here en ‘n belofte van sukses.
• Die Here wil met jou praat en vir jou die leiding gee wat jy nodig het.
• Hy wil vir jou die sekerheid gee dat Hy met jou is en dat Hy dinge sal herstel.

Gebed: Vader, ek bid dat U met my sal praat, sodat ek sal weet wat ek moet doen en sodat ek in U krag kan optree. Amen.
