Deuteronomy 20:1

‘When you go out to battle against your enemies and see horses and chariots and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, who brought you up from the land of Egypt, is with you.

• In the course of life we do face battles.
• In the heat of the battle, the enemy may look overwhelming.
• But greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.
• You can rest, knowing that God has your back and that He is your security.

Prayer: Lord, regardless of the issues and challenges that I face, I will trust in You and I will not fear because You are with me. Amen.

‘As jy na die oorlog uittrek teen jou vyand en perde en strydwaens sien, ‘n volk meer in getal as jy, dan moet jy vir hulle nie vrees nie; want die HERE jou God wat jou uit Egipteland laat optrek het, is met jou.’

• Ons kom voor stryd gedurende ons lewens.
• Midde van die stryd mag die vyand oorweldigend lyk.
• Maar groter is Hy wat in jou is dan hy wat in die wêreld is.
• Jy kan rus, wetende dat God jou ondersteun en dat Hy jou sekuriteit is.

Gebed: Vader, tenspyte van die dinge en uitdagings wat ek moet trotseer, sal ek U vertrou en ek sal nie vrees nie want U is met my. Amen.

“Cuando salgas a pelear contra tus enemigos y veas un ejército superior al tuyo, con muchos caballos y carros de guerra, no les temas, porque el Señor tu Dios, que te sacó de Egipto, estará contigo.”

• Durante el curso de nuestra vida enfrentamos peleas.
• En plena batalla, el enemigo puede parecernos superior.
• Pero más grande es Él, que está contigo, que aquel que está en el mundo.
• Puedes descansar, sabiendo que Dios te cuida la espalda y te da seguridad.
