1 Kings 3:13

‘I will also give you what you did NOT ask for – riches and fame! No other king in all the world will be compared to you for the rest of your life!’

–  God can bless you with things you have never asked Him for.
–  In His character, He wants to be good to you.
–  King Solomon chose wisely and God blessed him with everything.
–  When we put HIM first, He adds everything else.

Prayer: Lord, You are a good God. You give me what I don’t deserve and You bless according to Your mercy and not according to what I deserve. Amen.

‘Ja, selfs wat jy nie begeer het nie, sal Ek jou gee, rykdom sowel as eer, sodat onder die konings niemand soos jy sal wees al jou dae nie.’

–  God kan jou seën met dinge waaarvoor jy Hom nooit gevra het nie.
–  Dit is in Sy karakter om barmhartig met jou te wees.
–  Koning Salomo het wys gekies en God het hom met alles geseën.
–  Wanneer ons HOM eerste stel gee Hy ons al die res.

Gebed: Vader, U is ‘n barmhartige God U gee my wat ek nie verdien nie en U seën my volgens U genade en nie volgens wat ek verdien nie. Amen.

‘Además, aunque no me lo has pedido, te daré tantas riquezas y esplendor que en toda tu vida ningún rey podrá compararse contigo por el resto de tu vida’.

–  Dios puede bendecirte con cosas que nunca le has pedido.
–  Por Su naturaleza, Él quiere ser bondadoso contigo.
–  El rey Salomón escogió sabiamente y el Señor lo bendijo en todas las cosas.
–  Cuando lo ponemos a Él primero, las demás cosas nos serán dadas por añadidura.

Oración: Señor, Tú eres un Dios bondadoso. Me das más de lo que merezco, y me bendices de acuerdo a tu misericordia, y no de acuerdo a mis méritos. Amén.
