Psalm 40:2

‘HE lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; HE set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.’

–  A pit is a picture of destruction and misery.
–  The Lord wants to lift His children out of such pits.
–  He does not want to see us mired in the troubles of life.
–  He wants to place you on solid ground and give you a firm footing.

Prayer: Lord, I pray that You will come right now and lift me up and out of the depression and pressure in which circumstances have kept me and I pray that You will raise me to newness of life. Amen

‘en Hy het my uit die kuil van vernietiging, uit die modderige slyk opgetrek en my voete op ‘n rots gestel; Hy het my gange vasgemaak.’

–  ‘n Put/kuil van vernietiging is ‘n skets van vernietiging en ellende.
–  Die Here wil Sy kinders uit sulke putte uit trek.
–  Hy wil nie sien dat ons in die slyk van die probleme van die lewe wegsak nie.
–  Hy wil jou op die soliede aarde plaas en vir jou ‘n goeie vastrap plek skenk.

Gebed: Vader, ek bid dat U nou sal kom en my uit die depressie en druk waarin die omstandighede my vasgehou het sal lig en ek bid dat U my tot nuwe hoogtes van die lewe sal lig.

Isaiah 26:9

‘My soul yearns for You in the night; in the morning my spirit longs for You.’

–  Throughout each season of life we should nurture our longing for God.
–  We should never allow our hearts to become hardened.
–  In response to our longings the Lord will lead and guide us.
–  Seek Him, pursue Him and desire more of Him.

Prayer: Lord, my heart and my soul cries out for more of You. May I know Your presence in my life today and each day that lies ahead. Amen

–  Ny lavaka dia sary mampiseho fahapotehana na faharavàna , na koa fahantrana .
–  Fa Andriamanitra dia te-hampiakatra ny zanany hiala ao anatin’izany lavaka izany.
–  Tsy tiany izaho sy ianao hiaina anaty fotaka mandrevo na hiaina amin’ny fiainana feno safotofoto.
–  Te hampitoetra anao ao amin’ny tany mafy sady tsara Izy dia eo amin’ny vatolampy mafy sy azo antoka.

Vavaka: Tompo Andriamanitra ô, mangataka aho mba ho avy Ianao ary hampiakatra ahy hiala ao anaty ny fahakiviana, fahadisoam-panantenana, fatotra samihafa izay namatotra ahy sy nihazona ahy ka hanangana ahy indray ho amin’ny fiainam-baovao. Amen.
