Psalm 3:3

‘You, LORD, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.’

• At times the pressures of life can bring us to a low place.
• But the Lord graciously comes alongside and lifts up our heads.
• The Lord does not want us to walk around with our heads hanging.
• He wants us to face each day with our heads held high because He is our hope.

Prayer: Lord, thank You that You are the lifter of my head. May Your glory come and shine on me and through me because of my hope in You. Amen.

Psalm 3:4

‘Maar U, HERE, is ‘n skild  wat my beskut, my eer en die Een wat my hoof ophef.’

• Soms kan die druk van die lewe ons terneerdruk.
• Maar die Here sal genadiglik kom en ons hoofde lig.
• Die Here wil nie hê dat ons terneergedruk moet wees nie.
• Hy wil hê dat ons elke dag met hoofde omhoog sal aandurf omdat Hy ons hoop is.

Gebed: Vader, dankie dat U die een is wat my hoof lig. Mag U heerlikheid oor en deur my skyn as gevolg van my hoop op U. Amen.
