Isaiah 61:7

‘Instead of shame and dishonour, you will enjoy a double share of honour. You will possess a double portion of prosperity in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.’

–  We often settle for less than God’s best in our lives.
–  We may even settle for shame, disgrace and dishonour.
–  This in not His plan for our lives, but He wants to turn this around.
–  He wants to turn the shame into double honour, prosperity and joy.

Prayer: Lord, I give you those things that I am ashamed of. I realise today that it is only You who can reverse those things and turn them into something beautiful. Amen.

Jesaja 61:7

‘In plaas van julle skande ontvang julle ‘n dubbele deel; en in plaas van die smaad sal hulle jubel oor hul deel. Daarom sal hulle in hul land ‘n dubbele deel in besit neem, ewige vreugde geniet’

–  Ons aanvaar dikwels minder as God se beste in ons lewens.
–  Ons mag selfs skande of oneer aanvaar.
–  Dit is nie Sy plan vir ons lewens nie, maar hy wil dit regstel.
–  Hy wil die skande in dubbele eer, voorspoed en blydskap verander.

Gebed: Vader, ek gee vir U daardie dinge waaroor ek skaam voel.  Ek besef vandag dat dit slegs U is wat daardie dinge kan omdraai en in iets moois kan verander. Amen.

‘Utanç yerine iki kat onur bulacaksınız, aşağılanma yerine payınızla sevineceksiniz,’

Böylece ülkenizde iki kat mülk edineceksiniz; sevinciniz sonsuz olacak.”

–  Genellikle hayatımızda Tanrı’nın en iyisinden daha azına fit oluyoruz.
–  Hatta bazen utanca, aşağılanmaya bile fit oluyoruz.
–  Bu Rab’bin bizler için olan planı değildir, ve bu durumu tersine çevirmeyi istemektedir.
–  Utancı iki kat onur, bereket ve sevince çevirmek istemektedir.

Isaías 61:7

‘En vez de su vergüenza, mi pueblo recibirá doble porción de honor; en vez de deshonra, se regocijará en su herencia; y así en su tierra recibirá doble herencia, y su alegría será eterna.’

–  Muchas veces nos conformamos con menos de lo que Dios tiene planeado en nuestras vidas.
–  Incluso a veces nos conformamos con la vergüenza, la desgracia y el deshonor.
–  Éste no es Su plan para nuestras vidas, y Él quiere hacernos cambiar de dirección.
–  Quiere que cambiemos la vergüenza en doble honor, prosperidad y gozo.

Oración: Señor, te entrego todas aquellas cosas que me avergüenzan. Me doy cuenta hoy, de que solamente a través tuyo podré cambiar todas esas cosas y convertirlas en algo hermoso. Amén.
