‘He changes times and seasons; He deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.’
– The Lord has the final say on all matters.
– He controls the course of world events.
– He also knows the times and season of our individual lives.
– He is ready to help us and give us all the wisdom we need.
Prayer: Lord, thank you that I can rest in the knowledge that You hold the whole world in Your hands. I ask You to give me the wisdom and the knowledge that I need in my daily life. Amen.

‘Hy tog verander die tye en die geleenthede; Hy sit konings af en stel konings aan; Hy verleen wysheid aan die wyse manne en kennis aan die wat insig het;..’
– Die Here het die finale outoriteit oor alle aangeleenthede.
– Hy het beheer oor alle aardse geleenthede.
– Hy ken ook die tye en seisoene van ons indiwiduele lewens.
– Hy is gereed om ons te help en om ons al die wysheid wat ons nodig het, te gee.
Gebed: Vader, dankie dat ek kan rus in die kennis dat U die hele wêreld in U hande hou. Ek vra U om my die wysheid en kennis te gee wat ek in my daaglikse lewe nodig sal hê. Amen.

– También conoce los tiempos y las estaciones de nuestras vidas.
– Estás listo para ayudarnos y para darnos la sabiduría que necesitamos.
Oración: Señor, gracias porque puedo descansar sabiendo que Tú sostienes el mundo entero en tus manos. Te pido que me des la sabiduría y el discernimiento que preciso en mi vida diaria. Amén.
