Proverbs 25:21-22

‘If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head, and the LORD will reward you.’

  • How we respond in difficult situations can change circumstances.
  • It is said that hurt people, hurt people.
  • With God’s help we can respond with a different spirit.
  • When we respond out of love, miracles can happen.

Prayer: Lord, I extend forgiveness to those who have hurt and harmed me. I choose to be an instrument of peace and healing as Your love works in and through me. Amen.

‘As jou vyand honger het, gee hom brood om te eet; en as hy dors het, gee hom water om te drink.  Want jy hoop gloeiende kole op sy hoof, en die HERE sal jou dit vergelde.’

  • Hoe ons in moeilike situasies optree kan omstandighede verander.
  • Hulle sê dat mense wat seergekry het maak ander mense seer.
  • Met God se hulp kan ons met ‘n ander gees reageer.
  • Wanneer ons met liefde reageer kan wonderwerke plaasvind.

Gebed: Vader, ek verleen vergifnis aan die wat my seergemaak of benadeel het. Ek kies om ‘n instrument van vrede en genesing te wees terwyl U liefde in en deur my werk. Amen.

Actuando así, harás que se avergüence de su conducta, y el Señor te lo recompensará.”

  • La manera en que actuamos ante situaciones difíciles, puede cambiar las circunstancias.
  • Se dice que la gente herida, hiere a la gente.
  • Con la ayuda de Dios, podemos responder con un espíritu diferente.
  • Cuando respondemos con amor, los milagros ocurren.

Oración: Señor, perdono a los que me han herido y me han hecho daño. Elijo ser un instrumento de tu paz y sanación. Dejando que tu amor trabaje en mí. Amén.
