Leviticus 26:6

‘I shall also grant peace in the land, so that you may lie down with no one making you tremble.’

• The Lord knows how important peace is in our lives.
• Fear and doubt can harass us, especially at night or in the dark seasons.
• Even in such times, the Lord wants to come and make His peace real to us.
• He gives us His peace so that we can rest secure in Him.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for the peace that You have prepared for me. May I know that peace as a living reality so that nothing and no one can make me tremble or fear! Amen.

‘Ook sal Ek vrede gee in die land, sodat julle sal lê en rus sonder dat iemand julle skrikmaak; …’

• Die Here weet hoe belangrik vrede in ons lewens is.
• Vrees en twyfel kan ons pla, vernaamlik in die nag of in donker seisoene.
• Selfs in sulke tye wil die Here kom en Sy vrede vir ons ‘n werklikheid maak.
• Hy gee ons Sy vrede sodat ons sekuur in Hom kan rus.

Gebed: Vader, dankie vir die vrede wat U vir my voorberei het. Mag ek daardie vrede as ‘n realiteit ervaar sodat niks en niemand my kan skrikmaak of my laat vrees nie! Amen.
