Psalm 18:16
‘He reached down from on high and took hold of me; He drew me out of deep waters.’
- This verse is a beautiful picture of what the Lord wants to do for us.
- When Peter was sinking, the Lord stretched out His hand and caught hold of him.
- He is able to draw us out of the floods which can overwhelm us.
- Let Him TAKE HOLD of you today and never let go of His hand.
Prayer: Lord, thank You that You are the One who can ‘take hold’ of me. You are also the One who knows what I am facing and You can pull me out of any deep waters I face. Amen.

Psalm 18:17
‘Hy het uit die hoogte sy hand uitgestrek, Hy het my gegryp, Hy het my uit groot waters getrek.’
- Hierdie vers is ‘n pragtige skets van wat die Here vir ons wil doen.
- Toe Petrus begin sink het, het die Here Sy hand uitgestrek en hom gegryp.
- Hy kan ons uitruk uit die vloed wat ons kan oorweldig.
- Laat Hom toe om jou vandag VAS TE GRYP en moet dan nooit weer Sy hand los nie.
Gebed: Vader, dankie dat U die Een is wat my kan ‘vasgryp’. U is ook die Een wat weet waardeur ek worstel en U kan my uittrek uit die diep waters waarin ek verkeer. Amen.
Alive to God 
…..Lord let not the Eyes of my Heart start “looking” at the proverbial wind and waves at these times but stay singularly focused on the Author and Finisher of my Faith – Jesus the Christ, the Son of the Living God!
