‘Let us fetch (bring back) the ark of the covenant of the LORD!’

• The Ark of the Covenant represented the presence of God to the nation of Israel.
• They knew that without His presence in their lives they were lost.
• They did everything in their power to make sure His presence was with them.
• You and I cannot do without the Lord and His presence in our daily lives.

Prayer: Lord, I recognise that I need You and Your presence in my life. With You in my life I can walk in victory and I can overcome any obstacle that may come my way. Amen.

‘Laat ons die verbondsark van die HERE uit Silo na ons toe bring, …’

• Die Verbondsark het die teenwoordigheid van God, vir die Israeliese nasie, verteenwoordig.
• Hulle het geweet dat sonder Sy teenwoordigheid in hulle lewens was hulle verlore.
• Hulle het alles binne hul vermoë gedoen om seker te maak dat Sy teenwoordigheid met hulle was.
• Ek en jy kannie sonder die Here en Sy teenwoordigheid in ons daaglikse lewe, leef nie.

Gebed: Vader, ek besef dat ek U en U teenwoordigheid in my lewe nodig het. Met U in my lewe kan ek in oorwinning loop en ek kan enige struikelblok op my pad oorwin. Amen.
