James 1:2
‘Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds.’
- At first glance this may seem like a great contradiction.
- But the Lord makes sure everything we go through has purpose and meaning.
- He takes the ‘many trials’ and works through them to bring about good.
- It is for this reason, that regardless of what we are facing, we can still rejoice.
Prayer: Lord, I realise that You are the One who takes the challenges and turns them into testimonies. You take the hurdles that we face, and You turn them into victories. I will rejoice in all things, because You will work them out for my good. Amen.

‘Ag dit louter vreugde, my boeders, wanneer julle in allerhande versoekinge val,’
- Hierdie mag as ‘n teenstrydigheid voorkom.
- Maar die Here maak seker dat alles wat ons deurleef ‘n doel en betekenis het
- Hy neem al die beproewinge en werk deur hulle om goedheid te bereik.
- Dit is om hierdie rede dat ons verheug kan wees ongeag dit wat ons moet hanteer.
Gebed: Vader, ek besef dat U die Een is wat die uitdagings neem en dit in getuienisse verander. U neem ons struikelblokke en verander dit in oorwinnings. Ek sal in alle dinge verheug wees, want U sal dit tengoede laat meewerk. Amen.

‘Mes frères et sœurs, quand vous passez par toutes sortes d’épreuves, considérez-vous comme heureux’
- A priori , cela peut sembler très contraduictoire
- Mais le Seigneur s’assure que toutes situations auxquelles nous sommes confrontés aient un sens et un but.
- Il prend “ces grandes épreuves” et les fait concourir pour le bien.
- C’est pour cette raison, que nous pouvons nous réjouir en dépit des difficultés que nous traversons actuellement
Prière: Seigneur, Je réalise que Tu es celui qui prend les défis et les transforment en témoignages. Tu prends les obstacles auxquels nous faisons face,et les transforment en victoires. Je me réjouirais en toutes choses, car Tu fait tout concourir pour mon bien. Ame
