Ephesians 6:16            (ESV)

‘In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one.’

• In life, the Lord has given us weapons to help us be victorious.
• The enemy would like to throw fear and doubt at you.
• But you have a shield, your faith, that can block the incoming darts.
• Your faith in God can overpower and extinguish the flames that come your way.

Prayer: Lord, I recognise that sometimes I come under attack and have to face things I wish would never come my way, but You are with me. I declare that the faith I have in You is greater than any attack I may face. I lift up my shield of faith today with full confidence in You. Amen.

‘Behalwe dit alles neem die skild van die geloof op waarmee julle al die vurige pyle van die bose sal kan uitblus.’

• Die Here het vir ons wapens gegee om ons in die lewe te help om te seëvier.
• Die vyand wil jou graag met vrees en twyfel treiter.
• Maar jy het ‘n skild, jou geloof, wat die inkomende pyle kan blokkeer.
• Jou geloof in God kan die vurige pyle van die bose oorweldig en uitblus.

Gebed: Vader, ek herken dat ek soms aangeval word en dinge moet trotseer wat ek wens nooit na my toe sou kom nie, maar U is met my. Ek verklaar dat my geloof in U groter is as enige aanval wat ek moet trotseer. Ek lig vandag my skild van geloof met volle vertroue in U. Amen.

prendete oltre a tutto ciò lo scudo della fede, con il quale potrete spegnere tutti i dardi infocati del maligno.

• Nella vita, il Signore ci ha dato le armi per aiutarci a essere vittoriosi.
• Il nemico vorrebbe gettarti paura e dubbio.
• Ma tu hai uno scudo, la tua fede, che può bloccare i dardi in arrivo.
• La tua fede in Dio può sopraffare ed estinguere le fiamme che ti vengono incontro.

Preghiera: Signore, riconosco che a volte sono sotto attacco e devo affrontare cose che vorrei non mi arrivassero mai, ma Tu Sei con me. Dichiaro che la fede che ho in Te è più grande di qualsiasi attacco che potrei affrontare. Oggi alzo lo scudo della mia fede con piena fiducia in Te. Amen.

“ඒ සියල්ල ඇර, ඇදහිල්ල නැමති පලිහ අරගනිල්ලා. එයින් නපුරාගේ සියලු ගිනි හෙල්ල නිවන්ට නුඹලාට පුළුවන් වන්නේය.”

• ජීවිතය, අපට ජයග්‍රහණය කිරීමට උපකාර පිණිස  සමිඳාණන් වහන්සේ අපට ආයුධ ලබා දී ඇත.
• සතුරා ඔබ වෙත බිය හා සැකය විසි කිරීමට කැමත්තෙන් සිටියි.
• නමුත් ඔබට එන ඩාර්ට්ස් අවහිර කළ හැකි පලිහක්, ඔබේ ඇදහිල්ල ඇත.
• දෙවියන් වහන්සේ කෙරෙහි ඇති ඔබේ ඇදහිල්ල ,ඔබ වෙත පැමිණෙන ගිනිදැල් යටපත් කර නිවා දැමිය හැකිය.

යාච්ඤාව: ස්වාමීනි, සමහර විට මට ප්‍රහාරයක් එල්ල වන බවත්, කිසිදා නොඑනු ඇතැයි හා මා අකැමති දේවලට මුහුණ දීමට සිදුවන බවත් මම දනිමි, නමුත් ඔබවහන්සේ  මා සමඟයි.  මා මුහුණ දෙන ඕනෑම ප්‍රහාරයකට වඩා ඔබ කෙරෙහි මා තුළ ඇති විශ්වාසය විශාල බව මම ප්‍රකාශ කරමි.  මම අද මාගේ ඇදහිල්ලේ පලිහ ඔසවන්නේ ඔබවහන්සේ කෙරෙහි පූර්ණ විශ්වාසය ඇතිවය.  ආමෙන්.
