Nahum 1:7

‘The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of distress; He cares for those who trust in Him.’

• The Lord is good – never doubt or question His goodness towards you.
• Things may not always make sense, but He remains good and faithful.
• In the ‘day of distress’ He will not fail you, but He will be your stronghold.
• Trust in Him and let your whole heart rest secure in His care and love for you.

Prayer: Lord, I declare that You are a Good, Good Father. I choose to trust You with the full knowledge that You will be my Stronghold in the midst of my challenges. Amen.

• Die Here is goed – moet nooit sy goedheid teenoor jou bevraagteken of daaraan twyfel nie.
• Dinge mag dalk nie altyd sin maak nie, maar Hy bly goed en getrou.
• In die ‘dag van benoudheid’ sal hy jou nie faal nie, Hy sal jou toevlug bly.
• Vertrou op Hom en laat jou hele hart sekuur rus in Sy sorg en liefde vir jou.

Gebed: Vader, ek verklaar dat U ‘n baie goeie, Goeie Vader is.  Ek kies om U te vertrou, omdat ek weet dat U my Toevlug tenmidde van my uitdagings, sal wees. Amen.

“Bueno es el Señor; es refugio en el día de la angustia, y protector de los que en él confían.”

• El Señor es bueno – Nunca dudes ni cuestiones Su bondad hacia ti.
• Las cosas no siempre parecen tener sentido, pero Él permanece bueno y fiel.
• En el día de angustia, él no te fallará, sino que será tu fortaleza.
• Confía en Él y permite que tu corazón descanse seguro en Su cuidado y Su amor por ti.

Oración: Señor, declaro que Tú eres un Padre muy, muy bueno. Elijo creerte, con el pleno conocimiento de que Tú serás mi fortaleza en medio de todos mis desafíos. Amén.
