John 20:27

Then HE said to Thomas, ‘Put your finger here; see My hands. Reach out your hand and put it into My side. Stop doubting and believe.’

• Doubt and unbelief rob us of the joy of trusting God.
• Here the Saviour tells Thomas to stop doubting and to believe.
• We are encouraged to believe and to walk in the joy that results.
• The Lord wants to touch your life and remove the doubt and the fear.

Prayer: Lord, forgive me for allowing doubt to undermine my hope, my faith and my confidence. I will believe and I will trust in You. Amen

‘Daarna sê HY vir Thomas: Bring jou vinger hier, en kyk na my hande; en bring jou hand en steek dit in my sy; en moenie ongelowig wees nie, maar gelowig.’

• Twyfel en ongeloof beroof ons van die vreugde daarvan om God te vertrou.
• Hier sê die Verlosser vir Thomas om op te hou twyfel en om net te glo.
• Ons word aangemoedig om te glo en te wandel in die vreugde wat daarop sal volg.
• Die Here wil jou lewe aanraak en die twyfel en vrees verwyder.

Gebed: Vader, vergewe my dat ek toegelaat het dat twyfel my hoop, my geloof en my vertroue ondermyn. Ek sal glo en ek sal op U vertrou. Amen
