Psalm 40:1
‘I waited patiently for the LORD to help me, and He turned to me and heard my cry.’
- We should never be in a hurry to give up our hope in God.
- The Lord will come through for you, don’t be impatient.
- Your patient waiting on the Lord will not go unnoticed.
- He will hear your cry and turn to help and rescue you.
Prayer: Lord, thank You that I can patiently and expectantly anticipate Your unfailing help in my life. You hear my cry, and You will act on my behalf, and I will continue to trust in Your promise to me. Amen.

Psalm 40:2
‘Ek het die Here lank verwag, en Hy het Hom na my toe neergebuig en my hulpgeroep gehoor;’
- Ons moet nooit haastig wees om ons hoop in God prys te gee nie.
- Die Here sal vir jou deurkom, moenie ongeduldig wees nie.
- Jou geduldige wag op die Here sal nie ongesiens verbygaan nie.
- Hy sal jou geroep hoor en neerbuig om jou te help en te red.
Gebed: Vader, dankie dat ek geduldig en met afwagting U onfeilbare hulp in my lewe kan verwag. U hoor my geroep en sal namens my optree, en ek sal voortgaan om op U belofte aan my, te vertrou. Amen.

Salmo 40:1
“Puse en el Señor toda mi esperanza; Él se inclinó hacia mí y escuchó mi clamor.”
- Nunca debemos tener prisa por abandonar nuestra esperanza en Dios.
- El Señor vendrá por ti, no te impacientes.
- Tu espera paciente en el Señor no pasará desapercibida.
- Él escuchará tu clamor y vendrá para ayudarte y rescatarte.
Oración: Señor, gracias porque puedo anticipar paciente y expectante Tu ayuda inagotable en mi vida. Tú escuchas mi clamor, y Tú actuarás en mi nombre, y continuaré confiando en Tu promesa para mí. Amén.

‘J’avais mis en l’Eternel mon espérance; et Il s’est incliné vers moi, Il a écouté mes cris.’
- Nous ne devrions jamais perdre l’espérance que nous avons en Dieu.
- L’Éternel viendra à votre secours, ne soyez pas impatient.
- Votre patience envers Dieu ne passera pas inaperçue.
