Joshua 23:8

‘Rather, cling tightly to the LORD your God as you have done until now.’

  • Holding onto the Lord should be our default function.
  • This verse shows us that we can have a close relationship with the Lord.
  • Just because things are difficult does not mean we should give up.
  • Hold onto God, because in the end He will be faithful.

Prayer: Lord, I choose to hold onto You with my whole being. May I never drift or lose my grip on You. You are my faithful and everlasting God and Father. Amen.

‘maar die Here julle God moet julle aanhang soos julle tot vandag toe gedoen het.’

  • Om aan die Here vas te hou behoort ons verstekfunksie te wees.
  • Hierdie vers wys ons dat ons ‘n hegte verhouding met die Here kan hê.
  • Net omdat dinge moeilik is, beteken nie dat ons moet tou opgooi nie.
  • Hou vas aan God, want uiteindelik sal Hy getrou wees.

Gebed: Vader, ek kies om U met my hele wese, aan te hang. Mag ek nooit wegdryf of my greep op U verloor nie. U is my getroue en ewige God en Vader. Amen.

  • S’attacher au Seigneur devrait être notre rôle par défaut.
  • Ce verset nous enseigne que nous pouvons avoir une relation intime avec le Seigneur. 
  • Ce n’est pas parce que les choses sont difficiles que nous devons tout abandonner.
  • Attachez-vous à Dieu, car Il sera fidèle jusqu’à la fin. 

Prière: Seigneur,je m’attacherai à Toi de tout mon être. Que je ne puisse jamais m’éloigner ou me détacher de Toi. Tu es mon Dieu fidèle et mon Père éternel. Amen.
