Romans 4:20
‘Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God.’
- Believing and trusting the Lord to fulfil His promises is a good thing to do.
- Abraham never wavered: he did not give in to doubt and unbelief.
- When things looked beyond hope, his faith actually grew stronger.
- His faith and trust honoured God and in the end God come through for him.
Prayer: Lord, I choose to trust and believe in all Your promises to me. Help me not to waver, doubt or fear, and may my faith in You grow even stronger, as I live in dependence on you from day to day! Amen.

‘En hy (Abraham) het nie deur ongeloof aan die belofte van God getwyfel nie, maar hy is versterk deur die geloof en het aan God die eer gegee.’
- Dit is ‘n goeie ding om te glo en te vertrou dat die Here Sy beloftes sal vervul.
- Abraham het nooit getwyfel nie: hy het nie ingegee en getwyfel en ongelowig geword nie.
- Wanneer dinge sonder hoop gelyk het, het sy geloof eintlik sterker geword.
- Sy geloof en vertroue het God ge-eer en uiteindelik het God gedoen wat Hy belowe het.
Gebed: Vader, ek kies om in al U beloftes aan my te vertrou en te glo. Help my om nooit te weifel, twyfel of te vrees nie, en mag my geloof in U nog sterker word, waar ek elke dag in afhanklikheid van U lewe! Amen.

“Ante la promesa de Dios, Abraham no vaciló como un incrédulo, sino que se reafirmó en su fe y dio gloria a Dios.”
- Creer y confiar en que Dios siempre cumplirá sus promesas es una cosa buena para hacer.
- Abraham nunca vaciló ni dio lugar a la duda ni a la incredulidad.
- Cuando las cosas parecían sin esperanza, es cuando su fe crecía y se fortalecía.
- Su fe y confianza honraron a Dios y al final Dios estuvo con Él.
Oración: Señor, elijo confiar y creer en todas Tus promesas. Ayúdame a no vacilar, a no dudar ni temer y ayúdame a que mi fe en Ti crezca aún más, mientras que yo vivo dependiendo de Ti cada día. Amén.
