‘…nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God…’
- How often we look to earthly things to provide what we need.
- We can end up placing our trust in things that are uncertain.
- We should rather trust, with full confidence, in the Living God.
- You can rest securely in His everlasting arms.
Prayer: Lord, forgive me for relying on and trusting in things that are so uncertain. I choose to trust in You. You are the one certainty on which I can depend. My hope is in You – my Living God. Amen.

‘…Hulle moet nie hulle hoop op die onsekerheid van rykdom vestig nie, maar op God wat alles ryklik aan ons gee om te geniet.’
- Ons maak dikwels staat op aardse dinge om te voorsien in dit wat ons nodig het.
- Ons kan uiteindelik ons vertroue in dinge plaas wat onseker is.
- Ons moet eerder, met volle vertroue, op die Lewende God vertrou.
- Jy kan veilig in Sy ewige arms rus.
Gebed: Vader, vergewe my dat ek op dinge wat onseker is, staatmaak en vertrou. Ek kies om op U te vertrou. U is die een sekerheid waarop ek kan staatmaak. My hoop is op U – my Lewende God. Amen.

- Podemos terminar depositando nuestra confianza en cosas que son inciertas.

- On peut finir par mettre notre espérance dans des choses incertaines.
- Nous devons plutôt mettre toute notre espérance dans le Dieu vivant.
- Vous pourrez vous reposer en toute sécurité dans Ses bras.
Prière: Seigneur, pardonne-moi d’avoir mis mon espérance dans des choses incertaines. Je veux espérer en Toi. Tu es la certitude sur laquelle je peux m’appuyer. J’espère en Toi – mon Dieu vivant. Amen.

Ai ricchi in questo mondo ordina di non essere d’animo orgoglioso, di non riporre la loro speranza nell’incertezza delle ricchezze, ma in Dio, che ci fornisce abbondantemente di ogni cosa perché ne godiamo;
- Quante volte guardiamo alle cose terrene per provvedere ciò di cui abbiamo bisogno.
- Possiamo finire per riporre la nostra fiducia in cose che sono incerte.
- Dovremmo piuttosto confidare, con piena fiducia, nel Dio vivente.
- Puoi riposare al sicuro tra le Sue braccia eterne.
