Mark 4:39

HE got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, ‘Quiet! Be still!’ Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.

• When the Lord speaks, even the winds and the waves must obey.
• He can speak the words: ‘Quiet! Be still!’ and that situation must obey.
• In the noise of challenge and difficulty, expect to hear Him speak.
• His very presence in our lives is our guarantee that everything will be alright.

Prayer: Lord, thank You that You are with me regardless of the circumstances swirling around me. You speak, and just one word from You changes everything. Amen.

“En Hy het opgestaan en die wind bestraf en vir die see gesê: Swyg, wees stil! En die wind het gaan lê, en daar het ‘n groot stilte gekom.”

• Wanneer die Here praat, moet selfs die winde en die golwe gehoorsaam wees.
• Hy kan die woorde spreek: ‘Stil! Wees stil!’ en daardie situasie moet gehoorsaam wees.
• Verwag gedurende die geraas van uitdaging en moeilikheid om Hom te hoor praat.
• Sy teenwoordigheid in ons lewens is ons waarborg dat alles in orde sal wees.

Gebed: Vader, dankie dat U met my is, ongeag die omstandighede waarin ek verkeer. U spreek, en net een woord van U verander alles. Amen.

‘S’étant réveillé, il menaça le vent, et dit à la mer: Silence! Tais-toi! Et le vent cessa, et il y eut un grand calme.’

• Quand le Seigneur parle,même les vents et les tempêtes obéissent.
• Il peut dire: Silence! Tais-toi! Et cette situation doit obéir.
• Dans le bruit des défis et des difficultés, attendez-vous à ce qu’Il parle.
• Sa présence seule dans nos vies est une garantie que tout ira bien.

“ උන්වහන්සේ නැගිට සුළඟට තරවටුකොට: නිශ්ශබ්ද වෙව, නිශ්චල වෙවයි මුහුදට කී සේක. එවිට සුළඟ නැවතී, මහත් නිශ්චලයක් විය.”

• සමිඳාණන් වහන්සේ කතා කරන විට, සුළං සහ රැළි පවා කීකරු විය යුතුය.
• උන්වහන්සේ මේ වචන කථා කරන විට : ‘නිහඩව!  නිශ්චලව සිටින්න! ’එම තත්වයට කීකරු විය යුතුයි.
• අභියෝගයේ සහ දුෂ්කරතාවයේ ශබ්දය තුළ, උන්වහන්සේ කතා කරන දේ ඇසීමට බලාපොරොත්තු වන්න.
• අපේ ජීවිතයේ උන්වහන්සේ සිටීමම සෑම දෙයක්ම හොඳින් සිදුවනු ඇති බවට අපගේ සහතිකයයි.
